Dynavector SUP-200

Transformador para cabeças Moving Coil (MC)


O Dynavector SUP-200 é um transformador para cabeças MC, que permite extrair o máximo de informação dos discos de vinilo.

Este tipo de transformador tem um ganho de 26dB, sem necessidade de alimentação eléctrica, funciona como uma extensão da cabeça de MC.



Tendo em conta a crescente solicitação dos clientes por este serviço, a Audio Team decidiu criar um novo espaço dedicado à lavagem profunda dos discos de vinilo.
O equipamento utilizado é a máquina profissional Matrix da Clearaudio.
No processo de limpeza as impurezas do disco são dissolvidas pelo liquído anti-estático da Clearaudio, que depois é removido através de um sistema potente de aspiração. Após a limpeza recomenda-se a colocação do disco numa capa nova anti-estática.

The Brio–R embodies all the necessary ingredients.
Substantial toroidal transformer, generous power supply components, rugged output stage, the use of film capacitors in the signal path and at all critical positions within the phono amplifier.

New output amplifier
Developed by our engineers a newly designed output amplifier using a low source impedance emitter follower Class A driver stage. Based around a complementary pair of 150w Sanken Darlington output transistors, this combination forms a complementary emitter follower emulating Class A conditions with good thermal stability and lower standing currents in the driver stage.

Analogue & digital outputs
Development of the analogue, digital and control domains ensured direct improvements of both analogue and digital outputs making the Apollo-R a perfect partner for the Rega Brio-R amplifier and an ideal ‘CD format’ front-end for the Rega DAC. The Apollo-R internal circuitry has also been improved by tightening the PCB layout.

Compact case design
Apollo-R is a top loading design housed in a custom compact aluminium case matching the Rega DAC and Brio-R amplifier. The Apollo-R is available in both black or satin silver finish.

The Rega DAC is a 16/20/24-bit at 32kHz to 192kHz digital to analogue converter incorporating an enhanced version of the Rega designed circuit. Developed to be simple to set up and use, the Rega DAC is designed to optimise performance from any two channel PCM digital audio source such as a CD player PC or streaming device.

With the PC/Laptop and MAC now widely accepted as creditable mediums for storing and streaming music. The use of high quality lossless files such as WAV, FLAC and ALAC offer performance through the DAC equal to and in some cases better than red book CD.

The New HDMI Standards -- What do they mean?

Did you know, every QED HDMI cable we have ever made is 1.4 compliant?

That is, at the very minimum, they meet the new HDMI specification for ‘Standard’ cables.
The new HDMI 1.4 specifications mean there are now 4 different categories with varying capabilities and performance characteristics:
  
This new standard has been designed to embrace the continued development of the High Definition market.

The new features of 1.4:

  • Audio Return Channel – simplifies the audio connection between sources
  • Full 3D Support
  • Supports 4000 x 2000 resolution  – up to 4 times the resolution of 1080p
    (on 'High Speed' categories)
  • More Colour Spaces – Enables HDTV’s to produce the rich colours from Digital still cameras
  • HDMI Ethernet Channel (on ‘with ethernet’ categories)

QED's primary concern is the very low performance required to meet the new ‘Standard Speed’ specification. Namely it only needs to meet the HD Ready (8 bit 720p60) Specification. So officially, a Standard Speed cable does not even need to be Full HD (8 bit 1080p60) compliant! Conversely, the High Speed specification is quite demanding, requiring at least 16 bit 1080p60 compliance. Ironically, this leaves a gaping hole in the market for the cable that most people will actually need. To ensure consumers never have a problem with QED cables, every cable manufactured by QED to ‘Standard Speed’ specification (and up to 10m in length) will always deliver far above the minimum specification and at the very least support Full HD (8 bit 1080p60).
